Desde el "Campamento francés en el sitio de FUENTERRABIA" a GAND (carta del conde de Gramont, posteriormente Duque y Mariscal de Francia, a los Jurados y Consejo de la Ville de Bagneres). El asedio a FuenterrabÃa acabó con la derrota francesa atribuÃda a la Virgen de Guadalupe, el pueblo hizo el voto de celebrar la victoria en su honor todos los años (conocida como el Alarde cada 8 de Septiembre, tradición que hoy, cuatro siglos después se sigue manteniendo).
